В таинственных замках страдали красавицы томные, В тоске проливая жемчужные слёзки свои,
И рыцарей храбрых, в железные латы окованных,
Они провожали на подвиг во имя любви.
Пылая ярче тысячи свечей,
Любовь сильнее тысячи смертей,
Любовь нежнее утренней зари,
Любовь огромней неба и земли.
Блестят пистолеты, отточены шпаги дуэльные... Во мгле предрассветной покинув любимых своих, Врагов звать к ответу короткой дорогой смертельною Уходят поэты на подвиг во имя любви.
Пылая ярче тысячи свечей,
Любовь сильнее тысячи смертей,
Любовь нежнее утренней зари,
Любовь огромней неба и земли.
Века пролетели, как будто минуты свидания,
Но в парках зеленых все так же поют соловьи,
И горечь потерь, и острая боль расставания
Толкают влюблённых на подвиг во имя любви.

Lovesick beauties pined in mysterious castles,
Shedding pearly tears in depression,
When they saw courageous knights in iron cuirass off
For feats for the sake of love.

Love is larger than heaven and earth.
The pistols glitter, the duel swords have been sharpened.
Having left their sweethearts in the false dawn,
The poets start on their mortal journey
For feats with enemies for the sake of love.
